We had some of the team head to Arnsberg in Germany to represent WKO Team England. After a very long day we successfully returned with 6 Unified European Champions, a silver medalist and a bronze medalist. Amazing work and dedication from the team.

On returning we attended the annual WKO Grand Championship Awards in Barnsley where we had Robert Bulpin, Alfie Youens and Harry Watson (2nd year running) crowned as 2024 Grand Champions with Harry also picking up the Sweep Of The Year Award and Stuart receiving the Coach Of The Year Award.

The 2024 WKO European Open was split over 2 weekends and we attended both the Ringsport and the Tatami events.

We had great success in both coming back with a host of gold medalist's from both events.

For the Ringsport we came back with 12 Gold, 8 Silver and 2 Bronze and we finished 5th overall from all the clubs in attendance and from the Tatami we had 13 Gold, 9 Silver and 3 Bronze and was 6th place overall.

A great achievement for our academy.

Our 2024 World Championship Team will be heading to Scotland as part of the official WKO Team GB squad and representing the WKO at the WKA World Open Championships in June. Then we head to Barnsley for the WKO Open World Championships in August before the big one in November where we head to Germany for the Unified Championships where we will be facing some of the best from around the world.

CEO Stuart proudly collecting the Fenland Business Awards Readers Choice Award for the second consecutive year.

This is a massive honour for us at RKA as this award is chosen by you, our amazing members and also the Fenland Citizen readers themselves.

We were against some tough opposition and to claim this award again is a massive achievement.

We were honoured to attend the WKU England awards in January and we had several of our students and team receive awards in recognition of their achievements.

Pictured is our Chief Instructor Paige alongside Coaching Team Member Charlotte. Paige had the honour of receiving her award for the work she does in being a female ambassador in our amazing sport and for all the work she does to promote females in sport in general as-well as in kickboxing. Charlotte was awarded her award for the progression of female fighters in our sport.

In December we attended the 2023 WKO Grand Championship Awards at The Barnsley Metrodome. We had 6 of the team who had won the Grand Championship's for their categories. Little Max winning the 9-11 years under 45kg Grand Championship, Oscar with the 15-17 under 90kg Box Light, Instructor Max with the 15-17 Under 70kg Low Kick, Harry with the 15-17 under 60kg Light Continuous Kickboxing, CEO Stuart with the Mens Veterans Low Kick and Coach Charlotte with the 15-17 years under 65kg Low Kick and the ladies under 65kg Light Continuous Kickboxing awards.
